Certainly, God is definitely still in America. The people who established modern-day America dedicated America to God They most likely intended a modern-day version of ancient Israel. The problems that are occurring around the country are occurring because the people who live there have shut God out. Seattle is a good example. God waits, and sometimes he shakes things up, but he never leaves.
Faith in God created America. God’s faith in people created Israel
Israel, God’s chosen nation, was founded by God because he loved people. Israel produced the savior of mankind – Jesus of Nazareth.
America was founded by people who loved God. America became the leader of the Western.
Both America and Israel were born in God and will never be forsaken by God because God’s faithfulness surely far exceeds that of people (Hebrews 13.5, Deuteronomy 31.8: never leave, never forsake).
It is obvious that God accepted the dedication of America. Just look at the way America has been blessed and used by God to further His kingdom.
God has not left America
In the book of Revelation Jesus is saying to America, and whoever else it applies to or has an “ear to hear”,
As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent. (Revelation 3.19)
My son, despise not the chastening of the Lord; neither be weary of his correction:
For whom the Lord loveth he correcteth; even as a father the son in whom he delighteth. (Proverbs 3.11,12)
One of the founding fathers, George Washington, warned of how blessings could be withdrawn at the official founding America and dedication to God.
America Dedicated to God
On April 30th, 1789, America had a Constitution and a newly formed government. On that day, the government, the House, and the Senate gathered for the Inauguration of our first president, George Washington. In his Inauguration Address, Washington gave a prophetic warning: “We ought to be no less persuaded that the propitious smiles of heaven can never be expected on a nation that disregards the eternal rules of order and the right which heaven itself has ordained.” Washington’s warning was, if we would begin to depart from God, He would remove His blessings, His prosperity, and His protection from our nation. [emphasis added]
After Washington’s address, the government, the House, the Senate, and America’s first president traveled on foot to Saint Paul’s Chapel. No one knows exactly what was said inside but we do know the entire government was on their knees praying and consecrating this nation to God. In the chapel there is also a plaque above Washington’s pew with the words “Almighty God, we make our earnest prayer that you will keep the United States in Holy protection.” Saint Paul’s Chapel is located at the corner of Ground Zero and is the spiritual birthplace of America.
America’s first Presidential Inauguration – that of President George Washington – incorporated seven specific religious activities, including the use of the Bible to administer the oath; affirming the religious nature of the oath by the adding the prayer “So help me God!” to the oath; inaugural prayers offered by the president; religious content in the inaugural address; civil leaders calling the people to prayer or acknowledgment of God; inaugural worship services attended en masse by Congress as an official part of congressional activities, and clergy-led inaugural prayers.
The Enlightenment and Darwin
In the 18th century, the USA was born. Meanwhile back in Europe, the Enlightenment was in full swing. Enlightenment ideas sounded reasonable and good but it was really a movement setting itself up in opposition to God.
In 1859 enlightenment ideology had wained but got a tremendous “shot in the arm ” with the publication of Darwin’s “Origin of the Species”, out of which rose the Theory (still just a theory by the way) of Evolution. Evolution became the god of enlightenment thinking and rationalism. Rationalists had an argument against the Biblical story of creation.
Post World War II America was still predominantly Christian
America should have powered on as a great Christian nation.
Politicians, businessmen, and baby boomers, however, changed all that.
- Cheating on the Brenton-Woods agreement
- Getting rid of the gold standard in order to escape the flood of returning currency and to enable more cheating
- Rampant greed on Wall St (slicing up companies, downsizing, selling the pieces, and making unbelievable fortunes)
- Rebellion and “Flower Power” in the 1960s
Also, in the brave new world of post-WWII Post-Modernism; enlightenment and Darwinian thinking came back with a vengeance throughout the West.
By the 70s, in schools – Australia included I remember, most teachers were treating the Bile as though it were a book of fairy tales.
By the 1980s the West was predominantly non-Christian and has continued to become more so to this day.
This is something I found several hours after publishing this article and will be of great encouragement to those who are under God. You must watch this before you read about the dire straights I discuss as the article progresses.
The final third of this video is about supernatural signs and wonders that occurred in the wee hours of November 4 in America, after the vote counters were sent home.
What follows now is still all true but should be read in context with the message you have just heard. After seeing this message I sense that God is mobilizing Christians and the will be a revival shortly, in America, the likes of which have never seen before, and will spread to other countries.
If there is one thing that stirs the anger of God, examples of this can be found throughout the Bible prior to Jesus, is when his people turn their backs on Him, treating Him as though He were unnecessary, especially those that live in a nation that has been dedicated to God.
A snapshot of America in the 1980s
The song Jacob’s Ladder was a classic symptom of this happening in America. It embodies the same attitude that prevailed after the 9/11 attacks.
This song by Huey Lewis and the News was a harbinger and a chart-topper in America.
Huey Lewis and the News
I met a fan dancer
Down in Southside Birmingham
She was running from a fat man
Selling salvation in his hand
Now he’s trying to save me
When I’m doing all right
The best that I can
Just another fallen angel
Trying to get through the night
Step by step, one by one
Higher, then higher
Step by step, rung by rung
I’m climbing Jacob’s ladder
In other words, “I don’t need God”.
That Johnny Colla on lead guitar was ‘smokin’, wasn’t he?
Satan, after all, was the music leader in Heaven. Be careful how you hear what you listen to.
The pattern that emerges from studying the Bible is that God is slow to anger. Eventually, He sends a prophet to warn people to repent. I believe an important prophet for age in America is Johnathan Cahn. He explains to Benny Hinn how the 9/11 attacks were God’s wake-up call to repentance.
Benny Hinn – The Harbinger, Part 1, 2013, with Jonathan Cahn
Benny Hinn – The Harbinger, Part 2
If only people had listened
I saw Johnathon Cahn on Benny Hinn when it first came to air and thought “Surely those in government will take heed of this”. First the attacks and then the stock market crash. Many Christians seemed to have responded because the 7-year cycle seemed to have stopped. But;
- 2001 – the attacks
- 2008 – global financial crisis begins
- 2015 – Trump comes to prominence much to the ire of feminists, abortion laws became more liberal, and same-sex marriage was legalized after all bans were struck down: America took huge strides down the path of evil led by feminists. Remember it was Queen Jezebel that took over and led Israel astray. She advocated the killing of babies but has nothing on the feminists in America today.
- 2022 – watch out if Trump isn’t President anymore
Prior to the election Christians worldwide, not just in the US, were confidently praying for Donald Trump’s safe return to the Whitehouse for a second term. Now they are in shock at how things are playing out.
Oh! So that’s how you do it?
Amazingly Joe Biden stayed home and barely campaigned at all. In spite of this, he has won the election comfortably getting more votes than any other presidential candidate in history.
Something isn’t right. Christians should stand up and make themselves heard. There needs to be nationwide repentance and return to God.
Did you know that the Chinese planted their flag on the moon at the beginning of this month?
America is falling down.
China’s navy has become larger than America’s. The Chinese, post virus, got back to business as usual back in March.
Christians have largely been silenced by the roar of things like political correctness, climate change, and the coronavirus.
Shug off the shackles! Speak up!
Reiterating Johnathan Cahn
In the 9th chapter of Isaiah, the northern tribe of Israel has suffered a severe blow from their enemies.
Rather than repenting and turning to God (they had become a very cruel nation where terrible injustices were being perpetrated on the poor and defenseless, and they were heavily into idol worship), they encouraged each other saying in Isaiah 9.10:
The bricks are fallen down, but we will build with hewn stones: the sycomores are cut down, but we will change them into cedars.
In other words; “We don’t need God, we’ll do it ourselves.”
The day after 9/11
On September 12, 2001, the day after the 9/11 attacks, Tom Daschle in his official capacity as Senate Majority Leader, stood up and made a speech. He finished the speech with a quote from the Bible – Isaiah 9.10.
In Isaiah 9.11 (“9/11”, the irony of it), God pronounces judgment on Israel:
Therefore the Lord shall set up the adversaries of Rezin against him [Israel], and join his enemies together;
The Syrians before, and the Philistines behind; and they shall devour Israel with open mouth. For all this, his anger is not turned away, but his hand is stretched out still.
The Israelites could have escaped being wiped off the map if they had repented.
I reckon America has a month to get its house in order.
[December 20, 2020: The latest cyber-attack is yet another wake-up call]
The following video features the prophet, Jonathan Cahn, streamed live on YouTube, December 10, 2020.
A Prophetic Look At 2021
- He’s a messianic Jew and a Rabbi
- He’s not saying that Isaiah is referring to America, but that God always follows the same pattern when dealing with His people
- He’s saying that events in America are following God’s template
- He points out that America was founded as a nation under God
- He reminds us that sycamore trees that were next to the World Trade Center were replaced by cedars
- America’s founding documents were signed in a church that was opposite the World Trade Center
Who doesn’t want peace and prosperity? These two things are under threat. Let every person have the chance to enjoy these.
Out of pure selfishness, the world is being led astray by a relatively small group of people. These people lust for money and power. God wants Christians to stand up to these people.
Coronavirus based bullying by politicians, or even individuals and businesses, is another part of the bad situation that the West finds itself in lately.
As Lance Wallnau has pointed out, Goliath was immobilized and then taken out by his own sword. That’s what David used to cut off his head. In a spiritual sense (we aren’t fighting against flesh and blood – Ephesians 6.12) the deep state in America needs to be knocked down out and decapitated with its own sword. That is, brought to justice.
Thank you for visiting, leave any comments or questions below. I promise I will get back to you.
Toward the end of this video, Johnathan Cahn talks about Donald Trump: “Whoever takes office, there needs to be a revival to avoid the wrath to come”
